The receipt should name the address, the date and the surfaces cleaned, because the HOA notice usually names surfaces too. Keep a copy to match your deposits.

Terms and deposit language for pressure washing
- Deposit. Residential washes usually need no deposit. Sealing jobs and large commercial jobs may take one to hold the date and buy sealer.
- Payment. Due on completion, once the customer has seen the result.
- Warranty. Results on old stains, rust and oil vary; say what is guaranteed and what is a best effort.
- Customer provides water access at an outside spigot.
- Windows and doors are closed and plants near the house are wetted before and after soft washing.
- Loose paint, failing caulk or damaged siding may come off during washing; say you point these out first.
