What a pressure washing work order is for
A wash crew needs to know where the spigot is, which plants are precious, whether the outlets are covered and what mix to run on which surface. A work order with surfaces in order, methods and site notes keeps the crew from damaging anything and from washing the driveway before the house drips on it.
What to put on a pressure washing work order
- Surfaces in washing order.
- Method and mix for each.
- Water spigot and drainage.
- Plants, lights and outlets to protect.
- Windows and doors to check closed.
- Walk-around sign-off.
A worked example
The two-story house wash with the driveway. The crew washes the house first, then the flatwork. Prices are hidden.
| Line | Qty | Unit | Price |
|---|---|---|---|
| Soft wash siding, north side heavy growth | 2,000 | sq ft | Your price |
| Brighten gutter faces | 140 | ft | Your price |
| Surface clean driveway and walk | 600 | sq ft | Your price |
| Treat oil spot | 1 | each | Your price |
House first, flatwork last, so the runoff from the siding does not streak the clean concrete. Put the spigot and the hydrangeas in site notes.
