What a house cleaning work order is for
Cleaning teams rotate, but clients expect the same clean every time. A work order with the entry code, the alarm, the dog's name, the cleaner the client wants on the marble, and the add-ons for this visit makes a new team member as good as the regular one. It is also where the team notes anything broken or needing attention.
What to put on a house cleaning work order
- Entry code, key location and alarm.
- Pets and where they will be.
- Rooms in order and add-ons this visit.
- Client product preferences and surfaces needing care.
- Rooms or items not to touch.
- Team notes on anything found.
A worked example
A biweekly clean with a fridge add-on this time. A new team member is joining. Prices are hidden.
| Line | Qty | Unit | Price |
|---|---|---|---|
| Kitchen, including inside refrigerator | 1 | room | Your price |
| Bathrooms | 2 | room | Your price |
| Bedrooms, dust and vacuum | 3 | room | Your price |
| Living areas and floors | 1 | each | Your price |
| Change bed linens | 2 | each | Your price |
Put the entry code, the marble cleaner and the closed office in site notes. Those are the three things a new team member would not know.
