Helping the people who do the work get more of it.

Koira is the AI platform that gets contractors more jobs. This is why we built it, who it is for and where it is going.

Two roofers at work on a shingle roofEvery town runs on people like these.

Contractors are the ones who show up.

They fix the leak at seven at night, rewire the panel and mow the lawn before the weekend. Most of them run the whole business from a phone in a truck.

The work is hard enough. The calls, quotes, invoices and follow-up after dinner are what wear people down.

The tools were built for someone else.

Most software for the trades hands the owner a settings page: templates to pick, campaigns to plan, lists to buy, seats to pay for. The big outfits have people to run all that. A one-truck shop does not.

So we made the decisions. Koira already knows what books jobs for contractors and runs it for them.

Trade contractors are one of the largest groups of small businesses there is, and most of them have no office at all.

How it started

Shane Allen has spent his career starting companies and building hardware and software by hand.

Koira comes from a simple observation. The people who do the real work in a town, the ones on the roof and under the sink, spend their evenings doing office work that bigger companies hand to a front desk, a dispatcher and a billing clerk.

Most tools answered that with more settings. We went the other way. Koira decides what works, runs it the same way for every account and shows the owner one list of what needs them.

The company started in Florida in 2026 and is built by a small team that would rather ship than talk about it.

Three beliefs that guide Koira

We believe rules beat improvising.

Every action Koira takes is a rule. Something happens in your account, or the clock hits a time, and a set message or change goes out.

The model only reads a message, pulls out a name or a date, or phrases one sentence. It never spends your money or invents a price. That is why you can hand Turbo the keys.

We believe a one-truck shop deserves what the big outfits have.

The big outfits have a front desk, a dispatcher and a billing clerk. Most contractors have a phone in the truck and a pile of things to do after dinner.

Koira does that work, for the same monthly price whether you run alone or with fifteen people.

We believe in showing the money, not claiming it.

A lot of software says it saves you hours. We would rather show you.

What Koira brought in counts the dollars paid on jobs Koira touched first, next to what Koira cost. If we cannot point to the row, we do not show the number.

Our long-term plan goes beyond the trades.

Today
Trade contractors, solo to fifteen people

Roofing, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, painting, lawn care, cleaning, pest, pools and more.

Next
More of the work owners still do by hand

QuickBooks, Apple Business Connect and updates written straight to Google Business Profile are on the way.

Later
Any local business where the owner would rather be doing the work

The same idea every time: we work out what brings customers in, and we run it.

Help the people who do the work succeed.

We are a small team that ships for contractors every week. If that sounds like a good problem, come see how we work.

We know what works. Leave it to Koira.
