What a house cleaning proposal is for
Cleaning clients choose a frequency more than a service, and the price per visit usually drops as visits get closer together because the home stays cleaner. Showing three plans side by side makes that trade clear, and gives the client a reason to choose a more frequent plan without you pushing.
What to put on a house cleaning proposal
- The same home and the same visit checklist.
- Frequency and price per visit for each plan.
- The first deep clean, if needed, in each.
- Monthly cost for comparison.
- One sign-up line.
A worked example
The same three-bedroom house. The standard clean uses the calculator's typical price; change the visit price per plan to your own if closer visits cost you less time.
Option 1: Good: monthly. One standard clean a month.
| Line | Qty | Unit | Price | Amount |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| First visit deep clean | 1 | each | Your price | |
| Standard clean, monthly * | 1 | each | $233.00 | $233.00 |
Option 2: Better: every other week. Two cleans a month; the home stays clean between visits.
| Line | Qty | Unit | Price | Amount |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| First visit deep clean | 1 | each | Your price | |
| Standard clean, biweekly * | 2 | each | $233.00 | $466.00 |
Option 3: Best: weekly. Four cleans a month, with linens changed each visit.
| Line | Qty | Unit | Price | Amount |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| First visit deep clean | 1 | each | Your price | |
| Standard clean, weekly * | 4 | each | $233.00 | $932.00 |
| Change bed linens | 4 | each | Your price |
