What a snow removal proposal is for

Customers struggle to guess what a winter will cost, so offering both per push and seasonal plans lets them choose between paying for what falls and paying one fixed price. The top plan bundles walks, salting and roof snow, which matters most to older homeowners.

What to put on a snow removal proposal

  • The same property in each plan.
  • Per push or seasonal pricing.
  • Areas and services included.
  • Caps on pushes, if any.
  • One acceptance line.

A worked example

The same two-car driveway. Price each plan from your own rates and route costs.

Option 1: Good: per push. Pay only when it snows past the trigger depth.

Say in the notes how a very heavy winter is handled in the seasonal plans, such as unlimited pushes or a cap.

Terms and deposit language for snow removal

  • Deposit. Seasonal contracts are often paid up front or in monthly installments; per-push customers may keep a card on file.
  • Payment. Seasonal: up front or monthly. Per push: billed after each storm or monthly.
  • Warranty. Not a warranty trade. Say how you handle turf, edge or mailbox damage from plows, and how to report it.
  • Service starts at the trigger depth stated; drifting and blowing snow may need extra visits.
  • Plowing order depends on the route; say the target time after snowfall ends.
  • Ice can form after service; ice melt reduces but does not remove slip risk.

How to fill it in

  1. Fill in the customer and the job.
  2. Check each option's name, its one-line difference and its lines.
  3. Add your prices; each option totals on its own.
  4. Set tax, the deposit and the good-until date.
  5. Print it, download it, or send it from Koira so the customer can pick and sign on the phone.

FAQ

What snow removal plans should I offer?

Per push, a seasonal driveway contract, and a full season plan with walks, salting and roof snow cover most customers.

How do seasonal snow contracts handle heavy winters?

Some are unlimited, some cap the pushes and charge per push after. Say which in the plan. Make the cap or the unlimited promise clear so a record winter does not start an argument.

Is roof snow removal worth offering?

In heavy snow regions, yes, especially for older homeowners and flat roofs. Price it by the hour with safety in mind.

Can customers sign up online before winter?

From a Koira proposal link they choose the plan, sign and pay, which locks in your route before the first storm.
