Why three options
With one price the customer decides between you and the next contractor. With three, they decide between your options. The first meets the budget, the second is what you would do for your own home, the third is for the customer who wants it to last. Make the differences real: material grade, what is included, warranty length.
How to build the options
- Use the same measurements in all three, so the price differences come only from the choices.
- Name each option by what it is, not just Good or Best.
- Say in one line what each adds over the one before.
- Keep the gaps between them sensible; a top option far above the others looks like a decoy.
- One deposit rule for whichever they pick.
Letting the customer pick
On paper, the customer writes the option number and signs. In a free Koira account the proposal goes out as a link: the customer taps the option, signs on the phone and can pay the deposit by card.
