What a water treatment proposal is for

After a water test, owners face a menu of systems. Three options built on their own test results, from the basic fix to the full setup, let them choose by what they care about: scale, taste or everything. It is an honest alternative to the hard sell the trade is known for.

What to put on a water treatment proposal

  • The test results behind all three.
  • What each option treats.
  • Equipment and service plan.
  • Upkeep each one needs.
  • One acceptance line.

A worked example

The same hard-water home on city water. Lines are yours to price.

Say plainly what each option fixes. If the test does not show a problem, do not sell the fix.

Terms and deposit language for water treatment

  • Deposit. A deposit at signing covers the softener, filters or pump ordered for this home. Deposit rules differ by state; confirm yours.
  • Payment. Balance due when the system is installed, running and tested.
  • Warranty. Equipment carries the maker's warranty. You warrant the install and fittings for the time stated. Damage from freezing, sediment or a failing well is not install workmanship.
  • Systems are sized from the water test shown on this estimate.
  • Service plans renew yearly unless cancelled in writing.
  • Well work may need a licensed well contractor where the state requires one.

How to fill it in

  1. Fill in the customer and the job.
  2. Check each option's name, its one-line difference and its lines.
  3. Add your prices; each option totals on its own.
  4. Set tax, the deposit and the good-until date.
  5. Print it, download it, or send it from Koira so the customer can pick and sign on the phone.

FAQ

What water treatment options should I offer?

A softener alone, a softener with drinking water RO, and a whole house setup with a service plan, all built on the same test.

How do I keep water treatment sales honest?

Build every option on the owner's own test results, and do not sell a fix for a problem the test does not show.

Does pay over time help with water systems?

On larger whole house systems it can. Koira's pay page lets the owner pick Affirm or Klarna and apply from their own phone, and you are paid as usual.

Can owners choose a water treatment option online?

Yes. From the Koira proposal link they pick an option, sign and pay the deposit, and the install lands on your schedule.
