- For a water treatment company, the features that decide the software are recurring service plans, calls answered by AI and options on one estimate.
- Koira covers that list on Front Office ($499 flat), with no per-person fee.
- 4 companies we checked name this trade on their own site: Jobber, Housecall Pro, ServiceTitan and Service Fusion.
- Prices and card rates for Jobber, Housecall Pro and Service Fusion are from each company's own pages, checked October 8, 2026.
What a water treatment company needs from software
Water treatment and well service is two businesses in one truck. The install sells a system after a water test; the service keeps it running with filter changes, salt and checks for as long as the customer owns the house.
The service side is where most dealers lose track. Filter changes remembered only when the customer complains are visits, and money, that never happened.
- Recurring service plans. Softener salt, filter changes and system checks come round on a schedule, and they are the steady money.
- Calls answered by AI. No water on a Sunday is an emergency, and the company that answers gets the pump job.
- Options on one estimate. After the water test, a softener, a filter or a combined system is the choice the customer makes.
- Customer financing. A whole-house system is a big number, and paying over time helps the better system win.
- Stops sorted by the drive. Rural routes are long, and the order you drive them decides how many stops fit in.
- Day-before reminders. A day-before text means someone is home to open the utility room.
The jobs on a water treatment estimate
These are the lines on a water treatment and well estimate, from the price list in our free water treatment estimate template.
| Job line | Priced by | What the line says |
|---|---|---|
| Water test, hardness and iron | each | What was tested and the results. |
| Water softener, single tank | each | Grain capacity and valve. |
| Water softener, dual tank | each | For larger homes or hard water. |
| Whole house filter | each | Media and what it removes. |
| Reverse osmosis, under sink | each | Stages and faucet. |
| Bypass, fittings and drain line | each | Pipe material and drain route. |
| Well pump, submersible | each | Horsepower and depth. |
| Pressure tank | each | Size and pressure switch. |
| Pump pull and reset | hour | Crew and hoist time. |
| Filter change visit | visit | Cartridges and sanitizing. |
In Koira these go on your price list once. Every estimate, instant price and invoice pulls from it, so a water treatment company never types the same line twice, and Koira never writes a number that is not in your records.

How Koira covers the list
Recurring service plans. On Front Office, maintenance plans bill monthly or yearly and book filter changes and system checks on their own. Customers can join from your site or from an invoice.
Calls answered by AI. On Grow, Koira answers every call on your number, day or night, and books the visit.
Options on one estimate. Softener, filter and combined systems go on one estimate as good, better and best, signed on their phone.
Customer financing. The pay page offers Affirm or Klarna, and the customer applies on their own phone.
Stops sorted by the drive. Today puts stops in driving order and slots new calls where the drive works.
Day-before reminders. The day before, Koira texts the customer to confirm or move the visit.

How to choose
If filter changes slip, plans come first; they are on Front Office at $499 flat with no per-person fee. If weekend calls go to voicemail, answering on Grow comes first. Options and pay over time are on Office, the free plan.
Whichever you try, put one real week of water treatment jobs through it before you commit. Koira's Office plan is free with no time limit: start on Office, free, or see every plan on the pricing page. The others offer free trials or demos, so ask.
