What a junk removal proposal is for
Cleanouts often come with a bigger job nobody mentions until you are there: the shed out back, the rotted deck, the hot tub. Three options on the same property let the customer decide how far to go while the crew and truck are already booked. It also keeps you from quoting the big job on the fly.
What to put on a junk removal proposal
- The same property and items in each.
- What each option adds.
- Volume estimates for each.
- Demolition scope where included.
- One acceptance line.
A worked example
The same garage plus an old shed in the yard. Volume lines use the calculator's typical prices.
Option 1: Good: haul the junk. Load and haul the garage contents.
| Line | Qty | Unit | Price | Amount |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Junk removal, 1/2 truck * | 1 | each | $300.00 | $300.00 |
| Mattresses or box springs * | 1 | each | $113.00 | $113.00 |
| Total before tax | $413.00 |
Option 2: Better: haul, sort and sweep. Adds donation sorting and a broom clean.
| Line | Qty | Unit | Price | Amount |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Junk removal, 1/2 truck * | 1 | each | $300.00 | $300.00 |
| Mattresses or box springs * | 1 | each | $113.00 | $113.00 |
| Donation drop-off | 1 | each | Your price | |
| Sweep-up after removal | 1 | each | Your price |
Option 3: Best: full cleanout with shed. Everything above plus taking down and hauling the old shed.
| Sweep-up after removal | 1 | each | Your price | |
| Shed demolition and haul | 1 | each | Your price |
The shed demolition only appears in option three. Customers see what it adds without a separate visit.
