- For a junk removal company, the features that decide the software are customers book online, paid on the spot, stops sorted by the drive.
- Koira covers that list on Office (free), with no per-person fee.
- Prices for Jobber, Housecall Pro and QuoteIQ are from each company's own page, checked October 8, 2026.
- Count the people who will use it before you compare prices.
What a junk removal company needs from software
Junk removal customers want two things before they book: a number and a time, today. The hauler who answers first with a starting price and an open slot usually gets the job, and the one who calls back tomorrow gets nothing.
Then the job is paid at the curb, often by someone who wants it over with. Software for a junk hauler should make the price, the booking and the payment take seconds, and fit same-day jobs into the route you already have.
- Customers book online. Three open times by text, booked with one reply, beats a callback.
- Paid on the spot. Paid at the curb by card or phone wallet ends the cash count at night.
- Stops sorted by the drive. A same-day pickup only fits where the drive makes sense.
- Instant price on your site. People want a starting number before they book.
- Options on one estimate. A garage or estate cleanout is easier to sign with a few options and a deposit.
- Calls answered by AI. The caller who wants a pickup today dials the next name if nobody answers.
A plain checklist for junk removal software
- A starting price on your site from your own list
- Booking by text with three open times
- Same-day jobs slotted where the route makes sense
- Paid at the curb by card or phone wallet, no reader
- A new estimate on the spot when the load is bigger
- Calls answered while you are lifting
- Outreach to realtors and property managers
- Review asks after every paid pickup
How Koira covers the list
Customers book online. Customers book on your Koira site, or reply to three open times by text on Grow.
Paid on the spot. The invoice opens as a QR code on your phone and the receipt goes by text. No card reader.
Stops sorted by the drive. Koira only offers times that fit the route you already have.
Instant price on your site. On every plan, a Get a price button gives a starting price from your list.
Options on one estimate. Send a new estimate from the driveway with up to three options when the load is bigger than they said.
Calls answered by AI. On Grow, Koira answers on a Koira number and texts back missed calls in about a minute.
What to compare

From Jobber pricing, Housecall Pro pricing and QuoteIQ pricing, checked October 8, 2026. A cell names the lowest plan that lists the feature; "Not listed" means we did not see it, so ask. Jobber's pricing page blocks a plain fetch and changes its prices with a team size picker, so we read it in a real browser. The $29 a month per added user is in the note behind each plan's user count. Part of Housecall Pro's pricing page fills in by script and it was running first-month offers when we checked. The plan prices below are the regular ones its plan cards show. Prices are per month in US dollars and change often, so check the page before you buy.
ServiceTitan is left out of that table because its pricing page does not list prices. It sells Starter, Essentials and The Works per technician on request, and is built for shops with an office.

How to choose
Look at last month's missed calls and price questions. If most of them never booked, a price on your site and fast text-back matter most. If you book plenty but count cash at night, look at payment at the curb.
Whichever you try, put one real week of jobs through it before you commit. Koira has a free plan, and the others offer free trials, so ask.
