- For a waterproofing company, the features that decide the software are options on one estimate, customer financing, automatic estimate follow-ups.
- Koira covers that list on Grow ($249 a month plus usage), with no per-person fee.
- Prices for Jobber, Housecall Pro and QuoteIQ are from each company's own page, checked October 8, 2026.
- Count the people who will use it before you compare prices.
What a waterproofing company needs from software
A wet basement after a heavy rain is two things at once: an urgent call and a five figure decision. The company that answers the call books the inspection. The company that makes the decision easy, with clear options, pay over time and a follow-up, signs the job.
Rain weeks also come all at once, so the phone rings when every crew is already out. Software for a waterproofer has to answer that wave and then keep every big estimate moving until the homeowner decides.
- Options on one estimate. Interior drain, sump pump or the full system is a choice the homeowner needs to see side by side.
- Customer financing. Waterproofing is often an unplanned five figure bill.
- Automatic estimate follow-ups. A big estimate goes quiet unless someone checks in.
- Calls answered by AI. Rain weeks bring every call at once.
- Invoices in stages. A multi-day job is billed in stages.
- Deposits at signing. A deposit at signing makes the date real.
A plain checklist for waterproofing software
- Calls answered and missed calls texted back in rain weeks
- Interior drain, sump pump or the full system as options on one estimate
- Pay over time on the pay page
- Follow-up on every open estimate
- Deposit at signing
- Deposit, midpoint and final invoices
- Photos from the inspection on the estimate
- Review asks after the job is paid
How Koira covers the list
Options on one estimate. An estimate carries up to three options from your price list, signed and paid on one page.
Customer financing. Customers can choose Affirm or Klarna on the pay page. Approval and terms are between the customer and the lender.
Automatic estimate follow-ups. Koira nudges every open estimate on day two and day four.
Calls answered by AI. On Grow, Koira answers every call on your Koira number and books inspections into your real day.
Invoices in stages. Deposit, midpoint and final go out as you mark each stage done.
Deposits at signing. Your deposit rule is added to every estimate.

From Jobber pricing, Housecall Pro pricing and QuoteIQ pricing, checked October 8, 2026. A cell names the lowest plan that lists the feature; "Not listed" means we did not see it, so ask. Jobber's pricing page blocks a plain fetch and changes its prices with a team size picker, so we read it in a real browser. The $29 a month per added user is in the note behind each plan's user count. Part of Housecall Pro's pricing page fills in by script and it was running first-month offers when we checked. The plan prices below are the regular ones its plan cards show. Prices are per month in US dollars and change often, so check the page before you buy.
ServiceTitan is left out of that table because its pricing page does not list prices. It sells Starter, Essentials and The Works per technician on request, and is built for shops with an office.

How to choose
Take last year's rain weeks and count the calls you could not return the same day. If that number is large, call answering comes first. If you inspected plenty but signed few, look at options, financing and follow-ups.
Whichever you try, put one real week of jobs through it before you commit. Koira has a free plan, and the others offer free trials, so ask.
