What a junk removal work order is for
The worst junk removal mistake is hauling something the customer meant to keep. A work order that lists what goes and what stays, marks fragile or special items and notes the route out of the house prevents it. It also tells the crew which items go to donation and which to recycling.
What to put on a junk removal work order
- What goes and what stays.
- Items needing special handling.
- Access: stairs, doorways, long carries.
- Donation and recycling items.
- Protection for floors and walls.
- Customer walk-through before leaving.
A worked example
The garage cleanout. The customer is keeping the workbench and the bikes. Prices are hidden.
| Line | Qty | Unit | Price |
|---|---|---|---|
| Load furniture and boxes | 1 | load | Your price |
| Mattress to recycler | 1 | each | Your price |
| Freezer to appliance recycler | 1 | each | Your price |
| Sweep garage floor | 1 | each | Your price |
Put what stays in site notes in plain words. Then walk the garage with the customer before the truck leaves.
