What a pool service proposal is for

Pool owners range from those who want chemicals dropped off to those who never want to think about the pool. Three plans on the same pool show what each level covers, and the top plan bundles the periodic work that keeps equipment alive. It replaces the price-only conversation with a choice of how much they want to do themselves.

What to put on a pool service proposal

  • The same pool in each plan.
  • What each visit includes.
  • Periodic services in the higher plans.
  • Monthly price for each.
  • One sign-up line.

Terms and deposit language for pool service

  • Deposit. No deposit on weekly service. Equipment replacements and remodels may take a deposit for parts.
  • Payment. Weekly service billed monthly, often by card on file. Repairs due on completion.
  • Warranty. Equipment carries the maker's warranty; your labor on repairs is covered for the period you state.
  • Water chemistry can change quickly after storms, heavy use or pets; extra visits or chemicals are billed as used.
  • Customer keeps gates unlocked and pets inside on service day, and tells you of parties or heavy use.
  • Green pool recovery may take several visits; results depend on the filter and equipment working.

How to fill it in

  1. Fill in the customer and the job.
  2. Check each option's name, its one-line difference and its lines.
  3. Add your prices; each option totals on its own.
  4. Set tax, the deposit and the good-until date.
  5. Print it, download it, or send it from Koira so the customer can pick and sign on the phone.

FAQ

What pool service plans should I offer?

Commonly a chemical-only plan, full weekly service, and full service with periodic filter and salt cell care. Show the monthly price for each.

Should filter cleans be included in service?

Including them on a schedule in a top plan keeps equipment healthy and gives customers a reason to choose it.

How do I price pool plans?

From your cost per visit: time on site, drive time, chemicals and overhead, plus margin. The maintenance plan pricing calculator on our tools page lays the math out step by step.

Can pool customers sign up online?

From a Koira proposal link they choose the plan, sign and add a card, and the pool goes on your route.
