What a pool service estimate is for
Pool customers compare weekly prices that are not the same service: chemicals included or not, brushing every visit or not, filter cleans included or extra. An estimate that lists what a weekly visit includes and how chemicals are billed lets them compare fairly. For repairs, it names the equipment and model so they can check it.
What to put on a pool service estimate
- Pool size, type and equipment.
- What each weekly visit includes.
- Whether chemicals are included or billed by use.
- Filter cleans and how often.
- What costs extra, such as green pool recovery.
- Access, pets and billing.
A worked example
A 15,000 gallon plaster pool with a cartridge filter and a salt system. The owner wants weekly service with chemicals included and filter cleans every quarter.
| Line | Qty | Unit | Price |
|---|---|---|---|
| Weekly pool service, chemicals included | 4 | visit | Your price |
| Filter clean, cartridge, quarterly | 1 | each | Your price |
| Salt cell inspection and cleaning | 1 | each | Your price |
Quantities are for one month, with a quarterly filter clean shown as one. Spell out in the notes what a weekly visit includes; it is the list customers compare.
