What a snow removal invoice is for

Snow customers often sleep through the service and only see a clear drive, so the invoice is their record of when you came. Listing each storm date and what was done makes the monthly bill easy to trust and heads off the claim that you came less often than billed.

What to put on a snow removal invoice

  • Each visit with its date.
  • What was done each visit.
  • Extra visits for drifting or ice.
  • Payment terms.

A worked example

Terms and deposit language for snow removal

  • Deposit. Seasonal contracts are often paid up front or in monthly installments; per-push customers may keep a card on file.
  • Payment. Seasonal: up front or monthly. Per push: billed after each storm or monthly.
  • Warranty. Not a warranty trade. Say how you handle turf, edge or mailbox damage from plows, and how to report it.
  • Service starts at the trigger depth stated; drifting and blowing snow may need extra visits.
  • Plowing order depends on the route; say the target time after snowfall ends.
  • Ice can form after service; ice melt reduces but does not remove slip risk.

FAQ

What should a snow removal invoice show?

Each visit with its date and what was done, extra visits for drifting or ice, and payment terms.

How often should snow companies invoice?

After each storm or monthly. Monthly with dates is tidy for customers on per push service. Customers on seasonal contracts get a receipt for installments instead.

How do I invoice extra visits for drifting?

As separate lines with the date and reason, if your terms allow extra visits. Explain the drifting in a note so the extra visit makes sense.

Can I charge a card on file after each storm?

With permission, yes. Koira can send the invoice with a pay link or charge the saved card. The payment lands without you chasing anyone in the middle of winter.
