What a duct cleaning invoice is for

A duct cleaning invoice is judged against the photos. An invoice that lists what was cleaned, attaches before and after images and suggests when the dryer vent should be cleaned again ends the visit with proof and a reason to call you back next year.

What to put on a duct cleaning invoice

  • Vents and lines cleaned.
  • Dryer vent and any guard installed.
  • Photos attached.
  • Next suggested dryer vent cleaning.

A worked example

The ducts and dryer vent are clean. The dryer vent had a nest, removed and capped.

FAQ

What should a duct cleaning invoice show?

The vents and lines cleaned, the dryer vent work, any guards or filters, photos before and after, and when to think about cleaning again.

Should I attach photos to the invoice?

Yes. Photos are the proof of the work, and they make add-ons like a bird guard easy to understand and pay.

When should duct cleaners be paid?

At the door when the work is done and the photos are shown, by card or phone wallet.

Can I suggest the next cleaning on the invoice?

Yes, for dryer vents especially. A suggested month on the invoice is the start of next year's booking, and Koira can send the reminder when it comes.
