What a hood cleaning invoice is for

Restaurant owners pay hood cleaning invoices the morning after, from photos, not from seeing the work. An invoice that lists what was cleaned, links the before and after photos, notes any area without access and gives the next date is what they show their landlord, insurer and fire inspector.

What to put on a hood cleaning invoice

  • Hood, duct and fan cleaned.
  • Photos before and after.
  • Areas not reachable and why.
  • Fan and belt notes.
  • Next scheduled cleaning.

A worked example

Quarterly cleaning done overnight. The fan belt was worn and replaced with the owner's OK.

FAQ

What should a hood cleaning invoice include?

Hood, duct and fan cleaned, photos before and after, areas not reachable, fan and belt notes, and the date of the next scheduled cleaning.

Why attach photos to a hood cleaning invoice?

Owners do not see the work, which happens after closing. Photos are their proof, and their landlord's and inspector's proof too.

How should I note areas I could not clean?

List them plainly with the access panels needed. Never claim a section as cleaned that you could not reach.

Can hood cleaning be billed monthly?

Yes. On a yearly plan, Koira's maintenance plans can bill monthly on the card on file and book each cleaning on schedule.
