What a hood cleaning service agreement is for

Hood cleaning is recurring by law: the fire code sets how often each kitchen must be cleaned. An agreement that sets the visits, billing, photo reports and priority service turns a restaurant into a steady account and spares the owner from tracking dates and calling around before each inspection.

What to put on a hood cleaning service agreement

  • Kitchen, hoods and systems covered.
  • Visits a year for the cooking type.
  • Photo report and service label each visit.
  • Priority service for problems.
  • Repairs quoted separately.
  • Price, billing and cancellation.

A worked example

A high-volume restaurant on a three-month schedule wants a yearly agreement.
