What a electrical contractor needs, and where it sits in Jobber
Small jobs, panel upgrades and commercial calls all come in on one phone. An hour on the phone to quote a ceiling fan: that is the problem software has to fix. Jobber lists electrical among its industries; here is where each thing electricians rely on sits in its plans.
| What you need | Jobber | Koira |
|---|---|---|
| What decides the plan | ||
| Price book Outlets, fans and fixtures should be priced from one list, not from memory. | Not listed | Office (your price list) |
| QuickBooks Online sync Electrical work runs on parts, and your books should not need the same invoice typed twice. | Connect (QuickBooks Online and Xero) | Grow |
| Automatic estimate follow-ups A panel or EV charger quote is a considered buy, and it goes quiet without a nudge. | Connect | Grow, on day two and day four, then it stops |

| Instant price on your site | Not listed | Office (free) |
| Options on one estimate | Grow (optional line items) | Office, up to three |
| Invoices and online payments | Core | Office (free) |
From Jobber pricing, checked October 8, 2026. A cell names the lowest plan that lists the feature; "Not listed" means we did not see it, so ask. Jobber's pricing page blocks a plain fetch and changes its prices with a team size picker, so we read it in a real browser. The $29 a month per added user is in the note behind each plan's user count. Prices are per month in US dollars and change often, so check the page before you buy.
The Jobber plan a 1 to 3 person electrical contractor ends up on
For electricians, the list that decides the plan is price book, quickBooks Online sync and automatic estimate follow-ups. On Jobber that lands on Connect because quickBooks Online sync first appears there: $139 a month for one person and $197 for three, on monthly billing. Each person past the team size you pick is $29 a month.
Price book is not on any Jobber plan card. Ask Jobber how electricians handle it today.

Add the extras electricians often want (instant price on your site, options on one estimate and invoices and online payments) and Jobber moves you to Grow, $199 a month for one person, though instant price on your site is not on its plan cards. For comparison, the same list on Koira is Grow ($249 a month plus usage at cost), with no per-person fee.
Where Jobber is a good fit for electricians
- Grow adds optional line items and job costing, so electricians can put an upgrade on the quote and see what each job really made.
- QuickBooks Online and Xero sync starts on Connect, the second plan.
- Core already covers online booking, quotes, invoices and a website for one user at $29 a month billed yearly, which is enough for many solo electricians.
- Its mobile app works in Spanish for team members, and it has a 14 day free trial on Grow with no credit card.

Worked example: a solo electrician at the BLS median wage with $90,000 of overhead
A solo electrician at the BLS median wage with $90,000 of overhead, on the free electrician labor rate calculator, comes to $123.94 ($105.35 just to break even).
| Step | The math |
|---|---|
| Paid hours a year | 40 hrs × 52 weeks = 2,080 hrs |
| Hours at work | 2,080 − 10 days off × 8 hrs = 2,000 hrs |
| Billable share of a day | (8 − 2 unbilled) ÷ 8 = 75% |
| Billable hours a year | 2,000 × 75% = 1,500 hrs per electrician, 1,500 in all |
| Labor cost a year | 1 × $30.38 × 2,080 hrs × (1 + 7.65% + 0%) = $68,024 |
| Break-even rate | ($68,024 labor + $90,000 overhead) ÷ 1,500 billable hrs = $105.35 |
Spread over 1,500 billable hours a year, Jobber Connect at $1,188 a year adds $0.79 to every billable hour. Koira Grow adds $1.99 an hour.
