Key takeaways
  • For a gutter company, the features that decide the software are instant price on your site, recurring service plans, stops sorted by the drive.
  • Koira covers that list on Front Office ($499 flat), with no per-person fee.
  • Prices and card rates for JobNimbus, Jobber and Housecall Pro are from each company's own pages.
  • Count the people who will use it before you compare prices.

What a gutter company needs from software

A gutter company sells two things. Installs are bigger, priced by the foot with downspouts and guards. Cleanings are small, frequent and seasonal, and they are where repeat customers come from.

So the software needs a quick price for both, a route that keeps a day of cleanings moving, and a way to bring every customer back in spring and fall without calling down a list.

  • Instant price on your site. Cleaning is priced by the house and installs by the foot, so most first numbers can come from a list.
  • Recurring service plans. Spring and fall cleanings are the steadiest money in the trade when they renew on their own.
  • Stops sorted by the drive. A day of cleanings is ten stops, and the order you drive them decides how many you finish.
  • Seasonal email and text campaigns. Past customers are the easiest fall cleanings to book if someone reminds them.
  • Day-before reminders. A text the day before means the gate is open and the car is out of the drive.
  • Paid on the spot. Most cleanings are paid best before the ladder goes back on the truck.

A plain checklist for gutter software

  • Instant prices for cleanings by the house
  • Install quotes by the foot with guards as an option
  • Spring and fall cleanings that renew
  • Stops in driving order
  • Day-before texts about access
  • Seasonal reminders to past customers
  • Paid on the spot
  • Review asks after each paid job

How Koira covers the list

Instant price on your site. A Get a price button on your site answers from your own price list, day or night.

Recurring service plans. On Front Office, maintenance plans are sold on your site and invoices, billed on the card on file, and the visits book themselves.

Stops sorted by the drive. Today shows every stop in driving order on every plan, and new bookings slot in where the drive makes sense.

Seasonal email and text campaigns. On Grow, past customers get a text when the season comes round, with one tap to book.

Day-before reminders. The day before, Koira texts to confirm or move the visit.

Paid on the spot. The invoice opens as a QR code at the door, paid by card or phone wallet.

What Koira does not doKoira does not do payroll, inventory or a dispatch board for a call center. If you need those, a larger system may suit you better.

What to compare

The features that matter most to a gutter company, and where each first appears on each company's public pricing page, then the people, usage, card and add-on rows every company gets. It is not a full feature list for anyone, including us.

How to choose

If your fall is booked by phone tag, seasonal reminders and booking come first. If installs are the growth, quotes with options and follow-ups come first. Koira does routes and instant prices on Office, campaigns on Grow and plans on Front Office.

Whichever you try, put one real week of jobs through it before you commit. Koira has a free plan, and the others offer free trials or demos, so ask.
