Box and door materials
Fixr lists door and box materials a linear foot: MDF $50 to $250, plywood $100 to $500, solid wood $150 to $700 and stainless steel $450 to $1,200. Plywood boxes hold screws and resist water better than particleboard.

HomeAdvisor puts a small 10 by 10 kitchen at $2,000 to $24,000 and an average 12 by 12 kitchen at $2,400 to $28,800, covering stock to custom.
A worked example
Twenty-five feet of semi-custom cabinets at the US average comes to $3,750 to $16,250, about $10,000 typical, or about $11,900 with the old ones removed. Sixteen feet of stock cabinets is about $3,200. Enter a ZIP to scale the 30% labor share.
