How Markate pricing works
The Owner Operator plan is $49.95 a month, or $45.95 billed yearly ($551.40 a year). The Team plan adds $5 a month per employee. There is a 14 day free trial with no credit card.
Most add-ons are $10 a month: online booking, a branded customer portal, automatic review asks, a lead capture form, proposal templates, a business phone number, call forwarding, Zapier and CompanyCam. API access is $50 a month. Kate, the AI receptionist, is $1 a call. Texts are 10 cents each in drip campaigns and 5 cents per segment in blasts with a $10 setup; email is $10 per 2,000; postcards are $1.10 each.

What a small shop pays
An owner with two employees, online booking, review asks and the customer portal: $49.95 plus $10 for the employees plus $30 for the three add-ons, so $89.95 a month before calls and texts. Add 60 calls to Kate and it is $149.95.
Payments run through Square at Square's rates; Markate does not list its own card rate.

Is Markate worth it?
For a small crew that wants only a few extras, the a la carte model is easy to keep low. Add up the extras and message volume you expect before comparing it with a bundled plan.
