Jobber vs ServiceTitan at a glance

These two are rarely shortlisted by the same shop, and that is the useful thing to know. Jobber spans one person to a few crews across most residential trades. ServiceTitan serves residential and commercial contractors, and says more than 100,000 contractors use it.

If you are deciding between them, the real question is how your business is shaped: does the owner book and send the work, or does an office?

Where Jobber is the stronger pick

You book and schedule the work yourself. Jobber's plans are built for that: online booking and quotes on Core, follow-ups, reminders and routing on Connect, job costing and two-way texting on Grow, crew scheduling on Plus.

You want a price today. Jobber's pricing page shows every plan at every team size. A one-person Connect plan is $139 a month, or $99 billed yearly.

You want to start this week. The trial is 14 days on Grow with no credit card, and you can cancel a monthly plan with no commitment.

Where ServiceTitan is the stronger pick

You have dispatchers and office staff. Every ServiceTitan package lists dispatching and call booking, built around an office that takes calls and sends technicians.

Payroll, commissions and memberships run your business. Payroll management, commission tracking and customizable memberships are on every package, per ServiceTitan's pricing page.

You will add contact center and fleet tools. ServiceTitan sells Contact Center Pro, Dispatch Pro, Fleet Pro and Marketing Pro as add-ons for larger operations.

What a 1 to 3 person shop would pay

Jobber's numbers come straight from its plan cards. ServiceTitan prices per technician after a demo, so for a one to three person shop the only way to compare is to ask for its quote in writing.

Where Koira fits

Koira sits at the small end, below both in team size: it is built for one to three person shops. The free Office plan covers the site, estimates with deposits, invoices and the day plan, and Grow ($249 a month plus usage at cost) adds the AI receptionist and text-back on a Koira number.

If you are looking at ServiceTitan because you want calls answered while you work, Koira covers that without an office. If you need payroll or a dispatch board, ServiceTitan is built for it and Koira is not.

How to choose

If nobody in your shop has dispatcher in their title, start with Jobber's trial or a tool like it. If several people do, book the ServiceTitan demo, and bring your technician count and the features you need so the quote is specific.

FAQ

Is ServiceTitan more expensive than Jobber?

ServiceTitan does not publish prices, so we cannot compare them line by line. It prices each package per technician on request. Jobber's plans run from $49 a month for one user on Core to $499 for five on Plus on monthly billing, checked October 8, 2026.

Can a one-person shop use ServiceTitan?

Its packages are priced per technician, so in principle yes, but it is built around a dispatcher and an office. Its demo form asks whether you have at least one full-time office employee.

Does Jobber do payroll?

Payroll is not on Jobber's plan table, though it lists a Gusto integration from Connect. ServiceTitan lists payroll management on every package.

Which has a free trial?
