Where Jobber is the stronger pick

You work alone and want the lowest entry price. Jobber Core is $49 a month, or $29 billed yearly, with online booking, quotes, invoices, a website and reporting.

Your week is mostly repeat stops. Route optimization, automated client reminders and automatic payments for recurring work come in on Connect, Jobber's second plan. Lawn, cleaning and window crews tend to value that.

You want add-ons with a price on them. Jobber lists its AI Receptionist at $29 a month, Pipeline at $49 and Marketing Suite at $99, so you can see the full bill. On Housecall Pro the matching products are listed without prices.

Where Housecall Pro is the stronger pick

You sell big tickets and want financing from day one. Housecall Pro lists consumer financing on Basic. Financing is not on Jobber's plan table.

You are a crew of three to five. Housecall Pro Essentials includes five users at $189 a month. On Jobber, five users on Connect is $199 and on Grow $299, so the two land close, but Housecall Pro's price does not move if one more person joins inside the five.

You price from a book. A price book is on Basic and flat-rate pricing on Essentials, which HVAC and plumbing shops lean on. Housecall Pro also includes live phone and chat support on every plan.

What a 1 to 3 person shop would pay

For one person, Jobber Connect and Housecall Pro Basic are the usual starting points. For three people, Housecall Pro moves to Essentials, while Jobber either adds users at $29 each or uses its five-user price, whichever is lower.

Where Koira fits

If you are a one to three person shop and the hard part is the phone ringing while you work, Koira takes a different approach: on Grow ($249 a month plus usage at cost) it answers calls and texts back missed ones on a Koira number, and it never charges per person.

Koira's Office plan is free and includes a site that books jobs, estimates with up to three options and a deposit, invoices and the day plan. If you need payroll, inventory or deep job costing, Jobber or Housecall Pro will suit you better. See Koira vs Jobber and Koira vs Housecall Pro.
