Where GorillaDesk is the stronger pick
Recurring billing without the top plan. Stripe and Square subscription billing, online booking, a customer portal and QuickBooks Online are on GorillaDesk Pro.
Records for treatments. Material and chemical tracking is on Basic and trap barcodes on Pro.
Crews that ride together. Pricing is per route with unlimited admin users, so a two-person truck pays for one route.
Where Housecall Pro is the stronger pick
Big-ticket repairs and installs. Consumer financing and job costing are on Housecall Pro Basic, and the sales proposal tool is on Max.
Support and onboarding. Live phone and chat support on every plan, with a dedicated onboarding specialist on Max.
A team of five on one price. Essentials includes five users for $189 a month. Five routes on GorillaDesk Pro is $299.

Where Koira fits
Koira's answer for a small route business is plans that bill and book themselves on Front Office ($499 a month flat, usage included), with every stop sorted by the drive and each stop marked done on the customer's own page on every plan.
Koira does not track chemicals or state reports, which GorillaDesk does. It has no per-person or per-route fee.
How to choose
If recurring billing is the whole business and you want it below the top tier, GorillaDesk Pro is the place to look. If you also sell repairs and installs that need financing, Housecall Pro covers both.
