When to send a review request
Ask soon after the job is finished and paid, while the work is fresh and the customer is happy. Asking at the door works too, as long as the text with the link follows.
Google's policy for merchants does not allow offering incentives for a review, selectively asking only happy customers, pressuring people to review while you are on site, or asking for specific content. Ask everyone the same way, by message, and fix problems when they come up.
How to make it yours
- Send the direct link. Our free Google review link generator makes one, with a QR code.
- Name the job. It makes the message personal. Do not tell them what to write.
- Never offer anything for a review.
- Reply to every review, good or bad, in a line or two.
Send it automatically: Reviews engine
An hour after the invoice is paid, Koira texts your customer the ask with your Google link. When the review comes in, the reply is already drafted for you. After a good review, Koira can ask if they know someone who needs you.
Koira's free Office plan includes estimates, invoices and card payments. See pricing for what each plan sends for you.
