When to send an appointment reminder
The day-before reminder does the most work: it catches the customer while they can still change plans, and a reply to confirm or move it means you do not drive to an empty house. The on-my-way text is a courtesy that customers remember.
How to make it yours
- Ask for a reply. "Reply C to confirm" turns a reminder into a confirmation.
- Keep the window the same as the confirmation.
- Send the day-before reminder in the afternoon, so there is time to rebook the slot if they cancel.
- Do not over-send. Day before plus on-my-way is plenty for most visits.
Send it automatically: Reminders that confirm
The day before every visit, Koira texts the customer and asks them to confirm or move it. A confirmed visit takes the no-show risk off your day, and a moved one opens the slot for someone else. Every text carries the same customer link, where they can see the visit, sign, pay and book again.
Koira's free Office plan includes estimates, invoices and card payments. See pricing for what each plan sends for you.
