When to send a on my way text
Send the on-my-way text as you leave the stop before, with a realistic number of minutes. Send the running-late text the moment you know, not when you are already late. The at-the-door text helps when the customer cannot hear a knock or is around back.
How to make it yours
- Use the tech's first name. People open the door faster to a name they were expecting.
- Give minutes, not "soon". A number lets the customer plan.
- Say what the truck looks like when the customer has never met you.
- Keep it short. It is read on a phone, often while they are doing something else.
Send it automatically: Today and routes
In Koira, your day is sorted in driving order. When you leave a stop, the next customer gets a text that you are on the way and about how long, with a link to see you coming. Nobody types it from the truck.
Koira's free Office plan includes estimates, invoices and card payments. See pricing for what each plan sends for you.
