On Grow or Front Office, open Money and tap Connect QuickBooks, then sign in to Intuit and pick your company. From then on Koira sends customers, invoices, payments and refunds to QuickBooks Online every night, and right after a payment comes in. Anything that fails is listed with Intuit's own words and a Retry button.

Step by step
- Open Money
The QuickBooks panel sits on the Money screen. Before it is connected it reads Not connected. Connect it and invoices, payments and customers feed over every night.
- Tap Connect QuickBooks
Intuit's sign in opens. Sign in with the login you use for QuickBooks Online and pick the company Koira should send to.
- Check the panel
Back in Koira the panel reads QuickBooks: connected. Until something has been invoiced or paid it says Nothing to send yet.
- Send now, or let it run
The feed runs every night on its own. Tap Send now to run it straight away, for example after a busy day of invoices.
What goes over to QuickBooks
- Customers, matched by name. If QuickBooks already has a different customer with the same name, Koira adds the last four digits of the phone number so the two stay apart.
- Invoices, with the same invoice number, date and due date. Each line goes over as a service line; a discount goes over as a discount line and a tip as its own line.
- Payments, linked to their invoice, so the invoice shows paid in QuickBooks too.
- Refunds, as refund receipts.
- Voided invoices are voided in QuickBooks as well.
The feed goes one way, from Koira to QuickBooks.
When it runs
Every night, for anything that changed that day. A payment also goes over soon after it is recorded, with its invoice, so your books catch up the same day. Every attempt is logged, so nothing fails quietly.
Sales tax
Koira sends the tax on an invoice as a total. If QuickBooks' automated sales tax works out a different number, Koira does not change it on its side; check those invoices in QuickBooks.
When a row fails
The panel lists every row that failed in the last day, with Intuit's own error message, and a Retry the failed ones button. If Intuit stops accepting Koira's connection, the panel reads QuickBooks needs reconnecting: tap Reconnect QuickBooks and the feed catches up. If it fails three nights in a row, Koira tells you.
Which plans have it
QuickBooks Online comes with Grow and Front Office. On the free Office plan the panel says QuickBooks comes with the Grow plan. See Koira pricing, and the QuickBooks Online integration page for the overview.
