What resin printing means
Resin printing hardens liquid photopolymer resin with light, one thin layer at a time, building the part up from a vat. It captures far finer detail and smoother surfaces than filament printing.
Also called SLA, stereolithography, MSLA, DLP.
Where it matters on a 3D printing job
It suits miniatures, jewelry patterns, dental models and small detailed parts. Every print needs washing and a post cure under light, and uncured resin calls for gloves and ventilation, so cleanup labor and consumables belong in the price.
