What this checklist covers

A weekly pool visit is the same steps every time, which is what makes a checklist useful: nothing gets skipped on the twentieth stop of a hot day. Record every reading and every chemical you add. If the water turns, that record shows what was done and when.

Chemical labels set how much to add and how to handle it. Follow them, and keep acid and chlorine apart on the truck.

How to use it

Tick each item as you go. The sheet saves in this browser, so you can close the page and come back. Print a blank copy for the truck, or fill it in on your phone and print or save it as a PDF for the customer at the end.

With Koira: Today and routes

Recurring visits land on Today in driving order with the rest of your work, so a route of tune-ups takes less windshield time.

Last checked October 9, 2026. This page is general information, not legal or tax advice. Rules change and differ by state and city, so confirm with the agency named before you act.

FAQ

What should a weekly pool service include?

Skimming, emptying baskets, brushing, vacuuming, testing and balancing the water, and a quick check of the filter, pump and heater.

How often should pool water be tested?

At every service visit, and more often in heavy use or hot weather.

Should I give the customer the readings?

Yes. A short report with readings and chemicals added builds trust and protects you.

When should the filter be cleaned?

When the pressure rises above its clean reading by the amount the filter maker lists, or on the schedule in its manual.
