What this checklist covers

A pool closed wrong can crack a pipe or a pump housing in the first freeze. The two steps that matter most are clearing water out of the lines and draining every piece of equipment. Plug the lines once they are clear.

How low to drop the water depends on the cover and the climate. Follow the cover and equipment makers' instructions.

How to use it

Tick each item as you go. The sheet saves in this browser, so you can close the page and come back. Print a blank copy for the truck, or fill it in on your phone and print or save it as a PDF for the customer at the end.

With Koira: Maintenance plans

Sell the closing with the opening as a plan on your site and on every invoice. On Koira's Front Office plan, Koira bills the plan, books each visit when it comes due and puts it on your day.
