What this checklist covers
EPA WaterSense sums up a sprinkler spruce-up in four steps: inspect, connect, direct and select. Inspect for heads that do not pop up fully or are tilted, connect means checking where heads meet pipes and hoses for leaks, direct means aiming the water at the landscape and not the driveway, and select means setting a smart schedule.
This checklist puts those steps in the order of a start-up visit. Repairs found on the walk are the add-on sale.
