What this checklist covers
EPA's page on pesticide labels puts it plainly: labels are legally enforceable, and using a product in a way that does not match its label is a violation of federal law. The label is the law. That is why this checklist starts by reading it and ends by recording what you applied.
Your state may set its own record rules for applicators. Check them with your state lead agency.
