What this checklist covers
CSIA and NFPA each recommend that chimneys, fireplaces and dryer vents be inspected at least once a year. A dryer vent clogged with lint makes the dryer run longer and is a fire risk, so the visit is both a cleaning and a check.
Follow the dryer maker's instructions for the duct material and the maximum run.
How to use it
Tick each item as you go. The sheet saves in this browser, so you can close the page and come back. Print a blank copy for the truck, or fill it in on your phone and print or save it as a PDF for the customer at the end.
With Koira: Maintenance plans
Sell a yearly vent cleaning as a plan on your site and on every invoice. On Koira's Front Office plan, Koira bills the plan, books each visit when it comes due and puts it on your day.
