What this report covers

CSIA quotes NFPA 211, the chimney standard: chimneys, fireplaces and vents should be inspected at least once a year for soundness, freedom from deposits and correct clearances, with cleaning, maintenance and repairs done if necessary. CSIA describes a Level 1 inspection, the one NFPA 211 details, as the inspection that goes with a sweep.

This report follows that: sweep, look at the readily accessible parts, and write down what you found.

How to use it

For each item, mark it OK, Needs attention or Not inspected, and add a short note where it helps. "Not inspected" with a reason protects you better than a blank line. Print it or save it as a PDF and send it to the customer with your photos.

With Koira: Seasonal reminders

When the season comes, Koira texts and emails the customers you have already worked for with one tap to book the yearly sweep. Campaigns are part of the Grow plan.
