- For a detailing business, the features that decide the software are customers book online, day-before reminders, review requests.
- Koira covers that list on Office (free), with no per-person fee.
- Prices for Jobber, Housecall Pro and QuoteIQ are from each company's own page, checked October 8, 2026.
- Count the people who will use it before you compare prices.
What a detailing business needs from software
Detailing lives on bookings. A customer picks a package, a time and a place, and a no-show costs half a day. The customers who loved the result are the ones who come back every three months, if someone reminds them.
So the software that fits a detailer is mostly about the booking: packages with prices on your site, a deposit that holds the slot, a reminder the day before, and a nudge when the car is due again.
- Customers book online. Customers want to pick a package and a time on your site, not in your DMs.
- Day-before reminders. A reminder the day before is what keeps a mobile slot from going empty.
- Review requests. Before and after photos and stars decide who gets the next car.
- Deposits at signing. A paid slot is a kept slot.
- Seasonal email and text campaigns. A reminder when the car is due again turns one detail into four a year.
- Stops sorted by the drive. Mobile detailing lives or dies by the drive between cars.

How Koira covers the list
Customers book online. Customers choose a package and a time on your Koira site, on every plan.
Day-before reminders. Koira sends the reminder the day before, and the customer confirms with one letter.
Review requests. Every paid job gets the review ask an hour later.
Deposits at signing. The deposit holds the slot and is paid when they book.
Seasonal email and text campaigns. On Grow, Koira reminds past customers when the next detail is due, with one tap to book.
Stops sorted by the drive. Mobile stops are sorted by the drive, with an on-my-way text.

From Jobber pricing, Housecall Pro pricing and QuoteIQ pricing, checked October 8, 2026. A cell names the lowest plan that lists the feature; "Not listed" means we did not see it, so ask. Jobber's pricing page blocks a plain fetch and changes its prices with a team size picker, so we read it in a real browser. The $29 a month per added user is in the note behind each plan's user count. Part of Housecall Pro's pricing page fills in by script and it was running first-month offers when we checked. The plan prices below are the regular ones its plan cards show. Prices are per month in US dollars and change often, so check the page before you buy.
ServiceTitan is left out of that table because its pricing page does not list prices. It sells Starter, Essentials and The Works per technician on request, and is built for shops with an office.

How to choose
Count last month's no-shows and the customers who came once and never again. No-shows point to deposits and reminders; one-time customers point to the come-back reminder.
Whichever you try, put one real week of jobs through it before you commit. Koira has a free plan, and the others offer free trials, so ask.
