What cast vinyl means
Cast vinyl is made by pouring liquid vinyl onto a carrier sheet and baking it into a thin, relaxed film. Because it is not stretched during manufacture, it barely shrinks and can be heated and stretched into curves, rivets and recesses.
Also called cast film, wrap vinyl.
Where it matters on a sign job
It is the right film for vehicle wraps, boat lettering and long life outdoor graphics. It costs more per roll than calendered film, so name the film on the quote and explain why a wrap or a curved surface needs it.
