What cut sheet means
A cut sheet is the maker's one or two page product sheet with dimensions, ratings and install requirements for a fixture, appliance or material.
Also called spec sheet, product data sheet.
Where it matters on a general contracting job
Rough-in has to match the fixture, so get cut sheets before you set boxes and pipes. Attach them to the submittal or the job file so the crew builds to the right numbers.
