What certificate of insurance means
A certificate of insurance is a one page summary from your insurer showing your policies, limits and dates, sent to customers and general contractors as proof of coverage.
Also called COI, insurance certificate.

Commercial clients will not let you on site without one. Your agent can issue them quickly; keep a current one saved to send the same day it is asked for.
