What UV disinfection means
UV disinfection passes water past an ultraviolet lamp that inactivates bacteria and viruses without adding chemicals.
Also called UV water treatment.
Where it matters on a water treatment job
UV only works on clear water, so it goes after sediment filtration. Lamps lose strength over time and need replacing on a schedule, which belongs in the service plan.
