What smart irrigation controller means
A smart irrigation controller adjusts watering from local weather data or soil moisture sensors instead of a fixed timer schedule.
Also called weather-based controller, WaterSense controller.
Where it matters on a irrigation job
Swapping a clock timer for a smart controller is quick and often has a utility rebate. Set it up with the customer's phone before you leave, or it will be back on manual by next week.
